Rollerworld Covid Restrictions 2021

We’re happy to announce that we can open once again starting 16th of April but there will be restrictions in place to keep everyone safe. We aim to make sure everyone will be in a fun environment but ask that everyone reads and follows the following guidance to see what restrictions will be in place once we open.

These restrictions and dates may change so please check back on this page before attending your booking.

May 17th to June 21st

On 17th of May, we will be able to open to all ages for our general opening times. Some restrictions will still apply during these dates.

Our general sessions and opening times will be:

  • Wednesday Relaxed Sessions (All Ages): 4pm to 6pm
  • Wednesday Roller Disco (All Ages): 6pm to 11pm
  • Friday Relaxed Sessions (All Ages): 4pm to 6pm
  • Friday Roller Disco (All Ages): 6pm to 11pm
  • Saturday Open Skate (All Ages): 11am to 4pm
  • Saturday Adult Night (Over 14’s Only): 6pm to 11pm
  • Sunday Open Skate (All Ages): 11am to 4pm

 

During these dates the following restrictions will apply to our sessions:

  • Bookings are limited to a max of 6 per group.
  • Available tickets are limited to 50% of capacity.
  • 1 paid adult spectator can attend per group with additional adult spectators at full adult ticket price.
  • Children under 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
  • Tickets are available at the door at a £1 admin fee per skater. (Cash & Card Accepted)
  • Skate hire is available.
  • Facemasks must be worn in the venue for all over 11s, Face shields are available for attendees with breathing issues.
  • On the rink, facemasks are optional for all ages but must be put back on when off the rink.
  • Facemasks are not required while seated.
  • Social Distance at All Times. Keep a 2m distance from others where possible.
  • Keep to your own group and please do not sit or socialise with other groups.
  • Rollercode applies to all sessions

 

Food & Drink

  • Table service will be open for the café and bar in the venue.
  • Vending machines are available for drinks in the venue for skaters. (Cash Only, No notes)

Additional Activities:

We are currently planning our Clubs, Laser Quest, and Karaoke. Please check back here once they are announced

The DX Skate Shop

Our skate shop will be open during these dates with the following restrictions:

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult when entering the store (under 14’s).
  • 1 group from the same household or 2 people from separate households can enter the shop at a time no exceptions.
  • All products can not be taken off the walls or touched without a member of the DX staff present.
  • Trying on skates is only available with an assisting member of DX staff present.
  • Skate maintenance is available at a fee depending on the service.
  • Order online at Demonxtreme.com and collection from store is available.

Skating Passes

Skating passes will be available from 17th of May

After June 21st

At this point, as long as there are no new announcements by the Uk government, we should be able to lift all restrictions.

The following restrictions may still apply after the restriction lift:

  • Children under 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult. (part of the Rollercode)
  • Tickets are available at the door at a £1 admin fee per skater. (Cash & Card Accepted)
  • Table service may be kept in place in the café.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult when entering the DX Skate Shop (under 14’s).
  • Trying on skates is available only with an assisting member of DX staff present.
  • Rollercode applies to all sessions
