About Rainbow
My passion for wheels began here at Rollerworld when I was eight years old and ever since then skating has been a huge part of my life. I have been lucky enough to compete in the UK figure & free skating Championships seven times and was British Champion from 2012-2015! I later had the opportunity to travel abroad to compete with the GB Team at international level for two consecutive years.
There’s a common theme among skaters, and that’s the feeling of freeness you get when you’re wizzing around the rink. It’s a type of escapism that cannot be replicated. It’s unlike most sports in the way that you do not need an abundance of ‘natural talent’ or fitness and from my own experience and from watching years of skaters develop, I have realised that this is a sport for everybody. Over the years I have taught 4 year olds right the way through to adults in their 70’s! With the right mentoring anyone can learn!
Roller skating is a beautiful sport and I can’t wait to share my love for skating with you, whatever you age or ability!
